Last summer I was so hot wearing capris. As a volunteer, I can wear either capris or dresses, no shorts. So this summer I got Undersummers and lots of dresses! The 7" goes nicely under all my dresses. The pocket is good for cash, credit card, license, or a single key. The fabric is not sturdy enough to hold your phone. I thought it would be good for travelling. I did notice that with tight dresses, the pocket seam showed, but most of my dresses aren't tight. I used to hate sitting down with a dress on, because I didn't like my legs touching. Now I am much more comfortable sitting down with my Undersummers.

Splurged and replaced a pair my hubby washed with an ink pen. Now have 3 pairs in boring colors but they have the vital pockets on each side. Long enough for no thigh rub but above the knee to show leg. AWESOME.
